Inspired by Toy Story and timed to coincide with the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland, the update adds new racers, a PvE/PvP hybrid event system, free unlocks, and major character boosts.

Forky, Lotso, and Zurg Join the Race

This season’s new racers are pulled straight from Andy’s toy chest:

RacerClassSignature Skills
ForkyDefenderGenerates a protective orbit of junk that shields from attacks. Gains speed if an enemy collides with debris. His dash move propels him forward and boosts hit players.
LotsoTricksterApplies a hugging debuff that marks enemies. His growl attack slows all marked racers, scaling in power with the number of marks.
Emperor ZurgBrawlerStuns opponents and drops explosive foam balls that cause wide-area disruption. Gains speed post-impact.

Each new character brings class-specific traits that reinforce their roles on the track, and all three are positioned to shake up the current racer meta with their hybrid offensive and support mechanics.

Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep Are Now Free

Two Toy Story icons, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep, are being added to the game’s free unlock pool for all players this season. All players can now race with the duo without needing premium access or racing passes.

It’s a player-friendly gesture likely tied into the celebratory nature of both the Toy Story theme and Disneyland’s milestone.

Tales Events Add PvE and PvP Integration

Gameloft is introducing a new gameplay format called Tales Events. These multi-part limited-time events weave together PvE and PvP objectives through a persistent global reward track.

Key features include:

  • Daily rewards that stack with event progress
  • Global leaderboards tracking player achievement across both modes
  • Multiple events running concurrently, allowing for more flexible engagement
  • A competitive leaderboard system has also been introduced, adding higher-stakes PvP competition

Tales Events are designed to offer structured progression with thematic content while giving players daily touchpoints and long-term goals.

Supercharged Racers and Returning Vaults

Season 14 doesn’t just add new toys – it powers up existing ones. The following Supercharged Racers are receiving stat boosts and enhanced progression tracks:

  • Hercules
  • Elsa
  • EVE
  • Stitch
  • Goofy

Additionally, the Nightmare Before Christmas Vault returns, giving players another chance to unlock seasonal favourites Jack SkellingtonSally, and Dr. Finkelstein.

New Crew Members and Mid-Season Surprise

Supporting the new racers are themed Crew Members such as Big BabyKaren BeverlyStretchChucklesBonnieTwitch, and Sparks. These crew choices add passive buffs and team synergy depending on the equipped combos.

Midway through the season, Gameloft will also be adding Chip ‘n’ Dale as a dual-racer team. While details are sparse, the duo’s inclusion is expected to offer a unique co-op mechanic or alternating abilities – a first for the game.

While No Toy Gets Left Behind is fronted by Toy Story, Season 14 doubles as a tribute to Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary. In-game references, soundtrack selections, and cosmetic items are expected to reflect that broader Disney celebration beyond Pixar’s lineup.

S14 may be Toy Story-themed, but future content is already being teased. Based on datamines and community leaks, Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the Pooh are strong contenders for Seasons 15 and 16, though Gameloft has yet to confirm either.

Disney Speedstorm Season 14 is shaping up to be one of the game’s most comprehensive updates yet. The blend of free character unlocks, meaningful PvE and PvP content, new racers with competitive potential, and celebratory nods to Disney’s heritage positions this as a milestone season.
